Building magazine and the UK Green Building Council collaborated to hold the 'Making Sustainable Development Happen' Conference on 24th November, 2009. Senior decision-makers from all parts of the property industry gathered to engage with politicians, academics, the media and other sector leaders. Following the conference, the Sustainability Awards were held to recognise and reward outstanding sustainability performance by real estate  companies.
